Vaughn Gittin Jr. Places Third and Moves into First Overall in the Formula Drift on Bosch

Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the RTR Drift team traveled for the tenth consecutive season to the Road Atlanta track.
Vaughn placed 9th out of over 50 drivers in the first round of qualifying and then placed in the top sixteen in his second obligatory run. Vaughn faced Michael Essa in the consolation round and earned the third place spot on the podium after throwing down two solid runs and to move him into the first place in the Formula Drift Series.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the Monster Energy Falken Tire 2013 Ford Mustang RTR came to Formula Drift Round 5 at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA with hopes of another podium finish just as he had done at the previous round in Wall, NJ. Not only did Vaughn achieve this goal, but he took the top spot upon the podium and also gained crucial points by qualifying first, allowing him to surge into the 1st place position overall in the Formula Drift Championship standings.
