Kyle Busch Retains His Sprint Cup Lead on Bosch
Bristol, TN, August 23, 2008 — A 15th place finish Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway was good enough for Kyle Busch to maintain his sizeable points lead in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series running on Bosch spark plugs. Driving his Bosch-sparked Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry, Busch now has a 212-point lead with just two races left before the season-ending, 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. Bosch drivers still occupy six of the top 12 position in points which will qualify for the Chase to determine the '08 series champion.

Helio Castroneves Scores Breakthrough Win For Ganassi Racing and Bosch
Sonoma, CA, August 24, 2008 — Helio Castroneves finally broke through for an IndyCar Series victory Sunday at Infineon Raceway when he captured the Peak Antifreeze & Motor Oil Grand Prix race running on Bosch spark plugs. More importantly, the Team Penske star, frustrated until now with seven runner-up finishes this season, kept his series title hopes alive in the 2008 season. Castroneves and his teammate Ryan Briscoe started 1-2 for the Penske Team and finished in the same order in a pair of Bosch spark plug-equipped Dallara Honda entries. Series points leader Scott Dixon had his worst finish of the season taking 12th in a Bosch-sparked Target Chip Ganassi Racing Dallara Honda. Dixon now has a 43-point lead late in the season. |
